South Side Pitch is a celebration of innovation happening south of Chicago’s skyline. In 2016, nearly 170 south side business owners applied to pitch their ideas at South Side Pitch.  South Side Pitch is hosted by the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Law School.

Have a great business or idea? Are you bringing the spirit of entrepreneurship to the South Side? Want to receive invaluable feedback from a panel of experts and promote your idea in front of a new audience, all while competing for a prize?

Apply to pitch your business at the 4th Annual South Side Pitch and demonstrate to the judges and your fellow entrepreneurs how your plan will create one of the South Side’s most exciting ventures. All finalists will have an opportunity to meet with a business expert and a small business attorney to help them prepare their pitch.
