How do I apply to be a contestant?

Unfortunately, applications for South Side Pitch 2016 are now closed. All applications were due on August 19. If you didn’t have a chance to apply this year, we encourage you to apply next year!

On September 2, we will announce the South Side Pitch semi-finalists. If you are selected as a semi-finalist, you will be asked to submit a 20-30 second video about your business idea by September 9. On September 23, we’ll announce our 5 finalists who will prepare a pitch and compete at our October 6 event.

Finalists will have the opportunity to perform a 3-minute pitch before our panel of judges and a live audience including investors, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. The winners will receive a cash prize.
